LEI was contracted to perform the full electrical and special systems installation for the Denver Justice Center Post Office and Parking Garage. The Denver Justice Center Post Office and Parking Garage is the first building of the new Justice Center Campus. It contains approximately 630 parking spaces, the relocated Mile High Station Post Office and tenant/retail spaces This building was constructed in just less than a year and the Post Office employees were relocated in July of 2007. The fast track schedule was crucial to the project because the Mile High Station Post Office had to stay fully operational at all times. Furthermore, the old structure is currently located on the future Courthouse site so the relocation to the new DJC Post Office had to take place as scheduled to avoid delaying the construction of the next two buildings included in the DJC Campus. The relocation to the new DJC Post Office took place over a weekend allowing them to open their doors for business the following Monday. As the prime electrical subcontractor, LEI was responsible for installing the power, lighting, fire alarm, paging system and raceway for security and CCTV. LEI provided strong leadership, solution oriented project management and our craft labor was critical in delivering this project on time for the client.
