LEI perofrmed as the Prime Contractor for the VA Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. LEI's subcontractor team members included Johnson Controls, 2H Mechanical and CBI for air and flow balancing. As part of an energy efficiency upgrade project, LEI was contracted to demo 100 existing Pneumatic VAV controls and install Metasys energy efficient VMA’s on the first and second floors of the Hospital Administration. In addition, we were tasked to upgrade Metasys from a NCE (N2) to a NAE (BacNet) in buildings 8, 5, and 1, install fiber backbone and converter to isolate a network from the automated system and commission (18) of the hospitals existing AHU’s. All of this required LEI to test, calibrate and balance all devices and systems.
